Police defuse bomb in Lyari
Bomb weighed around 1.5 kilogrammes, says SHO Tufail.

Police claimed to have recovered a massive bomb from Lyari on Tuesday evening.
According to police officials, the bomb was recovered from Bohri compound in the Chakiwara area based on information received by suspects arrested during a targeted operation on Al-Falah road, Lyari.
Following the recovery of the bomb, bomb disposal squad (BDS) was dispatched to the site to defuse it.
The bomb reportedly weighed around 20 kilogrammes, but SHO Mohammad Tufail, while quoting BDS experts, said that the bomb weighed around 1.5 kilogrammes.
The political or militant affiliations of the apprehended suspects were not disclosed as further investigation was underway.
