Peace resolve: Sharjeel vows to make Karachi a cradle of peace

Sindh minister says efforts will be made to ensure law and order.

Sindh Minister of Information Sharjeel Inam Memon has said the government would ensure peace in Karachi at any cost. He said the people of the city wanted to live peacefully and [therefore] strict action had been initiated against the troublemakers. He expressed his commitment to spread love and cooperation and nullify all attempts to spread hate.





He said the law enforcing agencies would leave no stone unturned in their attempt to revive the peace of the city. “To protect the lives and property of citizens is the government’s prime responsibility; and the law enforcing agencies have been given the special task to ensure it as a joint strategy,” he added.

The minister said a special strategy had been developed to deal with the mischief-makers and terrorists and hoped that they would be able to curb the terrorist activities. He said there was a conspiracy to subvert the peace of the city. “However the conspiracy will be overthrown at all costs,” he added.
