Political leaders in Balochistan have hailed the selection of Dr Abdul Malik as chief minister of the province and termed it the best choice in the present circumstances.
Talking to a private news channel, Senator Humayun Khan Mandokhel said Dr Malik has an understanding of the issues of Balochistan and defended its cause in the Senate for three years.
He expressed confidence that the new chief minister would be able to bring all stakeholders on the negotiating table to resolve law and order problems of the province.
