The arrest warrants were issued due to repeated absence from the court. The former governor of Balochistan, Owais Ghani and former deputy commissioner of Dera Bugti, Samad Lasi were also included in the list of issued arrest warrants.
Musharraf had applied for bail in the Akbar Bugti case and the court is due to announce its decision regarding bail tomorrow.
The hearing will resume on June 24.
Baloch nationalist leader Bugti was killed in a cave on August 26, 2006 during a military crackdown ordered by Musharraf. Bugti was the chief of the Jamhoori Watan Party and an influential tribal chief who controlled the gas-rich district of Dera Bugti.

To all those guys who have their henious thoughts by misleading the masses. Please grow up and face the reality. Facts eventually speak for themselves,..Let's say Sardars, Nawabs have always misused the name of Balochistan to blackmail the federation for the embezzlement of funds, But a question is... who is favouring them? who is force behind these Sardars? Recall the words of Mush when he said that he was acceptable to all Sardars except the three ones. In fact Bughti was a pro-Pakistani leader who could realien the Baloch diaspora, What he got is an open sectret to the world.. Shame

Why then Ghaznavi, Bin Qasim and Babar - all followes of one such Ibrahimic religion - destroy thousands of houses of worship in this subcontinent? Whay are such people idolised by millions of followers of the same Inrahimic religion?
It is not for you to determine whether the temples destroyed are places where you would worship. The people who had faith, did worship there after all.

@Mirza:
Well said.! The rats are the first to leave the sinking ship, the captain is the last to leave! But I know what the Generls do in such situations, Musharaf is differnt, he lived the life of a General and wanted to retire as a politician with immunity from the law for his past acts.

Utter Rubbish. We are the judicial laughing stock of the world. If this is rule of law and the mental inadequacy of our judiciary, Qazi courts may not be a bad idea after all.
Mush is reaping the harvest he himself had sowed. Where is his hand-picked PM now and all his close associates? The problem with these dictators is they do not have diehard supporters who can go out on the street and face the brutalities of their opponents. How many people have gone to jail for Mush let alone facing hard labor in jail and flogging? Those were all fair weather friends and not ideological supporters or diehard fans.
@Zain Abbass
Then don't say it or you will be condemned for all times to come!!

will the ATC issue arrest warrant against gen Kayani and the corp commander of Quetta also..
@goldigger: Well the sentiments are always a two-way street. The Baloch should also ask the rest of Pakistan what it thinks about their illegal, usurping, murderous, cruel leaders that they call "Nawabs".
The Army is the Pakistan Army and last I checked, Balochistan was a part of Pakistan and as such the federal Army has all the right to garrison the province. If anything its the Army that brings development to the Balochis. Otherwise their nawabs have been eating billions of rupees from the center for the past 60 plus years and have nothing to show for it except sending their own sons overseas to schools and buying property for them in foreign countries.
Musharraf did what any national leader should have done. He actually was much more lenient than Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who took on the militants in Balochistan from 1973-75.
Our Balochi brothers cannot be held at the whims of the nawabs of Balochistan. The impediment in the province is due to the nawabi system otherwise even KP, being so remote, has seen significant development.
@Asim: Musharaf killed a terrorost. We support him in this decision.
Mush should be hanged for the non-judicial murder of Bugti. Just ask any Baloch about army/establishment and they'll tell you their sentiments.
@Rex Minor: I don't even know where to begin with such an incredibly stupid response you have posted.
@khan Sahib:
Honorable judges game or vendetta is for Musharraf only. Akbar Bugti is on record saying he killed 35 commando. He does not want to surrender so he commit suicide, the judges unnecessary like to frame Musharraf. Musharraf is neither a Sindhi or Punjabi or Balochi so Musharraf is an easy target as cjp is personal friend of Bugti and in his rule he quickly get raises in his job.
@Rex Minor:
Well those militant has made house of Allah an ammunition depot. People of lal masjid have give ample time to come out but they want martyrdom. If you did not listen to the tapes of that time then go and listen on you tube. They are clearly saying they want to die. So it is not the fault of Musharraf.
not worried for musharraf at all , it is truth and honesty which is at the alter
@Asim: yes he should anwer for all his deeds , by the way bugti self confesed killer at the age of 12 , what about him
@Cobra Commander:
Musharraf himself came and want to clear his name as he thinks he does not do anything wrong. If the judiciary does not show its vendetta, he will be sitting in the parliament right now. One day if not in this world but in hereafter this judiciary has to give an answer whether they are there to give justice or show its vendetta.
Nawaz Sharif does not have a vision, Zardari before and now Mr. Sharif has more than half of Musharraf cabinet in his present cabinet now. Mr. Sharif is good in just copy Imran Khan. It is a prediction there will be a change in govt in 2014.
"Five bullet riddled bodies found in Balochistan on the day the new Chief Minister took charge", My question to Judiciary, "Who will be charged for this, Dr Malik Baloch or Chief Justice accomplice His majesty Nawaz Sharif?" Judges do not play games, do your job.
@Aysha: @Mohammad:
Truth is not on trial, but Muharaf is! Allah has spoken when a man opts for a disgrace, the court will decide on evidence and vidnce alone! Not based on peoples emotions: He rode roughsho on the constitution, the judiciary and the house of God where Allah listens to the prayers of the believers. We are all sinners and therfore no one can be happy to see him in this situation, but ask those or the loved ones of those who vanished or perished.
Rex Minor
I thing Musharraf is better than our past and current government.
In 1999, it was elected Nawaz Sharif , who was dragged in courts and put in jail. In 2013 its the selected usurperer commando Musharaff who is being dragged about in courts. How things change in mere 13 years. I wonder if Mush can feel the irony .
"........he won't know what hit him". Musharraf warning Akbar Bugti a few days before the octogenarian was killed by the Army. This man should answer for his actions in a court of law.
Truth will inshallah prevail
Allah may keep Musharraf safe from all eveils.
Keep it up Judiciary.. you have lot of time for these dramas instead of solving common man's cases pending from one generation to next..
