
Pakistan and Oman on Thursday discussed to strengthening bilateral maritime cooperation to accelerate the launch of a ferry service, share marine expertise, and enhance trade in the maritime sector.
The understanding was reached during a high-level meeting between the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and the Ambassador of Oman to Pakistan, Fahad bin Sulaiman bin Khalaf Al Kharusi.
During the discussion, both sides acknowledged the deep-rooted diplomatic, cultural, and economic relations between Pakistan and Oman. Emphasis was placed on the urgent need to boost maritime trade and connectivity.
