Mumtaz Bhutto saga: ‘Governor rule if provincial govt fails’
He claimed that current rulers of Sindh did not have the real mandate.
KARACHI:
Mumtaz Bhutto would tighten the noose around the anti-Pakistan elements and go after thieves, corrupt people and the killers of Benazir Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto if made the governor or given any other important responsibility in the province.
This was stated by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Sindh vice-president, Muhammad Anwar Gujjar, in a statement. He said that governor rule can be imposed if the provincial government fails to protect life and property of the citizens.
He claimed that current rulers of Sindh did not have the real mandate as they came into power after resorting to poll-rigging with the help of the police and bureaucracy and added that only those people fear Mumtaz Bhutto whose hands were not clean.
