FIA to question CM Punjab secretary on leaked report

FIA summons CM Punjab secretary to investigate leaking of report on LHC CJ murder conspiracy.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) summoned Chief Minister Punjab's secretary to investigate the leaking of a report on the conspiracy to murder the Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice.


Director FIA, Zaffar Qureshi summoned Punjab Chief Minister's Secretary Tauqeer Shah in his office on September 29.



The FIA Director will question the Chief Minister's Secretary about the leaking of the report on the conspiracy to murder the Lahore High Court Chief Justice, Khwaja Muhammad Sharif.


The agency had summoned Tauqeer Shah earlier but he was unable to appear. Sources said the FIA has also summoned a journalist for publishing a story on the conspiracy.


The issue came to notice when abstract details of a report sent by the FIA to Lahore for the 'Chief Minister's eyes only' on the assassination plot of LHC Chief Justice appeared in a news story.
