Talent Icon: President lauds climber’s feat
The president was speaking to the two young Pakistani mountaineers from G-B.
ISLAMABAD:
President Asif Ali Zardari felicitated young mountaineer Samina Baig for her historic achievement to climb Mount Everest saying that the whole nation was proud of the young lady mountaineer who has emerged as a symbol of talent and great potential for women.
The president said this while speaking to the two young Pakistani mountaineers from Gilgit-Baltistan, Samina Baig and her brother Mirza Ali who along with Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah called on him at the Presidency.
