Bomb attack: Eight Rangers personnel injured
A low-intensity explosion took place near MQM office in North Nazimabad, no casualties reported.
KARACHI:
At least eight Rangers personnel were injured in an explosion outside their office in Nazimabad on Wednesday.
SHO Faryad Bhatti said that according to initial investigations, the personnel were eating food when two unidentified men on a motorcycle threw explosive material inside the Rangers 81 wing and escaped.
The officer said that the injured personnel were rushed to the nearby Rangers hospital for treatment where doctors termed their conditions as stable.
SHO Bhatti said that two high-intensity bombs were used but only one of them exploded. They have yet to register a case.
Separately, a low-intensity explosion took place near Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s office in North Nazimabad. No casualties were reported.
