An 11-year-old drowned during a swimming competition at a private school in Lahore, Express News reported on Wednesday.
According to initial details, the sixth grade student was not provided with immediate medical assistance.
The parents of the child were reportedly not allowed to see their son - after the incident - for around an hour.
It was also reported that the members of the school administration tried to provide aid to the child themselves.
