Disagreement: Newly-hired Polyclinic staff still in limbo
There are chances that all the candidates, which were around 300 initially, will be re-interviewed.
ISLAMABAD:
The issue of hiring employees from BPS-6 to BPS-12 grade at Polyclinic Hospital has still not been resolved.
A few weeks ago, 129 people were selected on vacant posts at the hospital but officials at the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development expressed reservations over the selection criteria applied and did not approve the finalised candidates.
A source at the hospital said that there are chances that all the candidates, which were around 300 initially, will be re-interviewed.
Meanwhile, the chairman Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the hospital, Raja Ilyas, while talking to The Express Tribune said that the committee will not let the ministry re-conduct the interviews and is making all out efforts to convince the officials to approve the selection of the already approved 129 candidates.
“Hopefully the issue will be resolve within a day or two,” he said.
