Police finally register FIR for Azfar Rizvi's murder

Almost four days after educationist Azfar Rizvi, and his driver was shot dead in Karachi, the police formally filed a report.
Rizvi was returning home from one of his Dhaka coaching centres when unknown gunmen shot and killed him in Karimabad on Friday. On Monday, police lodged an FIR for his murder at the Azizabad police station. The fir no 92/13 has been filed under section 302/34 against unidentified people on behalf of sub-inspector Saleem Siddiqi.
DSP Saleem Akhtar Siddiqui said that the police registered the case after the family did not pursue the case and police could not delay lodging the complaint. Siddiqui added that the police was trying to make sketches of the culprits with help of witnesses.
