Vulnerable: 180 buildings declared dangerous
The residents of dangerous buildings will be issued vacation notices from Monday, says town administration.

The Rawal Town administration has declared 180 buildings ‘vulnerable’ and has asked the occupants to vacate them at the earliest. The enforcement department of the Rawal Town Municipal Administration has warned that the 180 buildings were at risk of collapsing during the upcoming monsoon season. It said that buildings along the Nullah Leh were most vulnerable to collapse and labeled them unsafe for residential use. The town administration said that the residents of dangerous buildings will be issued vacation notices from Monday. Earlier, the Rawal Town Municipal Administration had conducted a survey to ascertain the number of dangerous and vulnerable residential and commercial buildings in its jurisdiction.
