Three political workers were among the five people killed on Sunday while three bodies were also found.

Two workers of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Suleman aka Sunny and Arif Qadri, were killed and a passerby, Amir Shakoor, was injured in Shah Faisal Colony No 5. The injured man and the bodies were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center. The spokesperson for the Sunni Tehreek, Fahim Shaikh, condemned the incident. Following the incident, unidentified men opened fire in the area, bringing to halt the routine and commercial activities in the locality. Extra contingents of law enforcers later arrived at the scene to control the situation.
