The kidnappers of a Rural Health Centre (RHC) doctor, his son and dispenser on Saturday told police that their demands had to be met for the safe release of captives.
Dr Khan Wazeer of Zahirpur RHC, his son, Shahzeb, and a dispenser, Malik Nazir, were abducted on April 18 on their way from Multan to Khanbela.
In a video message shown on TV channels and addressed to Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan DPOs, the kidnappers [Choto Mazari gang] demanded that their detained accomplices be released.
The video showed the captives in chains and surrounded by armed men. Wazeer said that he was being held by Choto Mazari.
