Policing raids: CID detains an alleged target killer

Sindh Police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) has claimed detaining an alleged target killer in a raid at the Shah Faisal Colony on Friday.

Munir Khan, son of Taufeeq Ahmed, was caught in exchange of fire. Khan claimed that a 9mm pistol was found in possession of the detainee and that he was involved in cases of extortion and target killings.
He further added that Munir confessed during an interrogation that he killed Sameer, a businessman, who had refused to pay extortion money, an FIR for which was registered at the Preedy police station against him.
The detainee has been shifted to undisclosed location for further questioning.
