Labour laws: ILO to hold workshop with government
Workshop will be held on may 29.
ISLAMABAD:
The International Labour Organization (ILO) will hold a consultative workshop on selected labours laws focusing on child labour and forced labour from May 29 here at a local hotel.
The workshop, jointly organised with the collaboration of Ministry of Human Resource Development, would be a tripartite consultation titled “Review of Selected Labour Laws with reference to ILO Conventions focusing on Child Labour, Forced Labour, Freedom of Association and Reporting on International Labour Standards”.
The workshop is aimed to build the capacity of the provincial labour authorities to provide technical assistance to bring provincial labour legislations in compliance with the ILO conventions ratified by Pakistan, said a news release issued here on Tuesday.
