Prime Minister Justice (Retired) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has directed that all processes pertaining to 56.4-megawatt wind power project, developed by Zorlu Energy Group of Turkey at Jhimpir, should be completed without any delay and the project should be connected to the national grid within 48 hours.

The premier gave the orders at a high-level meeting held at the Prime Minister’s House on Monday. The meeting discussed the worsening energy crisis in the country, which has led to blackouts and protests.

The Turkish company has already given final touches to the project, which is waiting for link with the national grid.
