The meeting, held in Raja House, Karachi, was attended by PML-F leaders Imtiaz Sheikh and Pirzada Yasir and PML-N leaders Chaudhry Nisar and Pervez Rasheed. Matters concerning the opposition in Sindh and the federal government among other issues were discussed in the meeting.
Talking to the media after the meeting, PML-F Chief Pir Pagara thanked Shahbaz for the visit and said, “We wanted to join hands with PML-N before elections as well, but that could not be made possible due to some engagements elsewhere and some differences between party members on some matters. However, we are still trying that within two to three months, the Muslim League can sit together on one platform.”
Shahbaz said that the result of this alliance will be fruitful for the people of Sindh.
He also promised inauguration of Metro Bus Service in Karachi as soon as Nawaz Sharif assumes the post of premiership.
Shahbaz also invited Pir Pagara to Nawaz's oath-taking ceremony in Islamabad.

PMLF has big responsibility on its shoulder, they need to perform a job as good opposition and push PPP to perform. PMLF also need to modernize and reorganize party to challenge PPP and MQM vote bank. They need a better strategy, team and action plan. PMLF has emerged as a serious challenge to PPP in rural Sindh and PTI to MQM in urban Sindh. Both Parties should also come closer for some joint struggle.

Amongst all the independents flocking into PMLN , Jamsheed Dasti decision to go solo must be appreciated. In fact voters give votes to independents because they do not consider any other contestents worthy of their votes. After winning These independents motivated by greed and power join the winning party at the centre. This is an abhorring practice and should be outlawed through amendments in the constitution.
Those independents joining the winning party abuse the trust of the people and lack integrity Had people voting for independents wanted to vote for major parties they would have done so directly. It's a shameful practice and must be condemned
