FATA Varsity: President promulgates ordinance
President Zardari approved and signed the regulation for the establishment of Fata University at FR Kohat.

President Asif Ali Zardari approved and signed the regulation for the establishment of Fata University at Frontier Region (FR) Kohat. Spokesperson to the president Senator Farhatullah Babar said that former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani had announced the establishment of a university of international standards in Fata, in 2009. The summary states that Ministry of States and FR, after getting the approval of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa governor, obtaining the views of Higher Education Commission and the Law and Justice Division submitted the summary to the prime minster for onward approval of the president.
