A former member of parliament belonging to Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) was injured as he resisted a robbery attempt in Karachi, Express News reported on Thursday.

The incident took place in Baldia Town area of the city.
Incidents of robbery have reportedly increased in Karachi recently.
