Temperatures soar: City in grip of heat wave
Doctors have advised people to cover their heads and necks to avoid heat strokes.

The City remained in grip of severe heat on Wednesday as the maximum temperature jumped to 47 degree centigrade. The minimum temperature recorded in Lahore was 28 degree centigrade. According to the Met Office, very hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Thursday (today). Doctors have advised people to cover their heads and necks to avoid heat strokes. They have also advised Lahoris to drink lots of liquids to replenish body minerals to avoid dehydration.
