District and Sessions Judge Abdul Rehman Khan awarded life imprisonment to two brothers in a murder case on Wednesday.
The convicts were also ordered to pay Rs100,000 each to the bereaved family. Allah Bachaya and Abid Hussain were arrested a few weeks ago by Shah Jamal police for killing a neighbour and injuring his son last year over an irrigation dispute. They were sentenced to one year in prison and fined Rs10,000 for injuring the deceased’s son.
