Illegally built: One killed, two injured as mine caves in
Hazrat Naseer and Syed Naseer had sustained injuries while Sohail Shah was killed.
KOHISTAN:
A man was buried alive when the roof of an illegally built mine collapsed in the hilly areas of Kohistan on Sunday.
Sohail Shah’s family told police he had been excavating soapstone with his brothers Hazrat Naseer and Syed Naseer, hailing from the village of Majisair Jalkot, when the roof caved in on them. Villagers sitting outside the mine called for help and started rescue work to recover the brothers trapped inside. Hazrat Naseer and Syed Naseer had sustained injuries while Sohail Shah was killed. The injured were taken to Dasu Hospital where their condition was said to be stable.
