LAHORE: The Shirazi brothers, who constitute a formidable force in the political landscape of Thatta, announced on Friday that they will join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Express News reported.

Addressing the media in Lahore, the Shirazi brothers said that they, along with PML-N, will try to solve the problems faced by the people of Sindh.

“We decided to join PML-N because Pakistan is at a critical stage and we hope and the country hopes that Nawaz Sharif can take the country out of this turmoil,” Sharif brothers said.

Commenting on Malkani group’s alliance with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Shirazi brothers said that it was Malkani’s decision to join PPP “maybe because they thought that would be better”.

The Shirazi brothers alleged that the PPP was involved in rigging and requested Sharif brothers to raise their voice against rigging in Sindh.
