Sarabjit Attack: Tribunal invites public submissions
The tribunal will hold hearings in Court Room 9 of the principal seat of the LHC, and Kot Lakhpat Jail.
LAHORE:
A tribunal comprising Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi of the Lahore High Court may visit India for a judicial inquiry into the attack on Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh in a Pakistani jail. Through its registrar the inquiry tribunal has requested the public for written submissions along with relevant document(s), and a copy of the national identity card within seven days. Indian citizens will have to get themselves registered with the tribunal on the website: https://mail.punjab.gov.pk and email: registrartribunalss@lhc.gov.pk The tribunal will hold hearings in Court Room 9 of the principal seat of the LHC, and Kot Lakhpat Jail on a date that will be notified later. Riaz Ahmad, the staff officer to the tribunal, will issue official statements regarding the inquiry.
