JUI-F Balochistan chief Muhammad Khan Shirani says PML-N has made contact.

QUETTA:
The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Balochistan chief Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani on Friday said that his party will join the Pakistan Muslim League-N to form the next Balochistan government.

Addressing a press conference at the MPA Hostel along with party leaders including Maulana Abdul Wasey and Hafiz Hamdullah, Shirani said, "JUI-F will respond positively to PML-N offer to form next Balochistan government if the latter’s leadership contact the JUI-F in this regard."

The JUI-F Balochistan chief, however, said that there was in no hurry to become part of next government.

"We remained coalition partners of provincial governments of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali and Mir Akhtar Mengal in past and we would also respond positively to PML-N if contacted in this regard."

Meanwhile, Shirani said that Maulana Abdul Wasey had been appointed as JUI-F’s parliamentary leader in the Balochistan Assembly while a four-member committee headed by Maulana Abdul Wasey and consisting of Mufti Abdul Sattar, Maulana Manzoor Mengal and Senator Hafiz Hamdullah would hold talks with other parties for formation of next Balochistan government.

The JUI-F provincial chief revealed that PML-N Balochistan chief Sardar Sanaullah Zehri and senior PML-N leader Nawabzada Jangez Marri had contacted him to discuss matters pertaining to formation of next provincial government.

The JUI-F has secured six seats in Balochistan while the PML-N secured nine seats in the province.
