Skill building: Pottery making workshop held at RAC
Pottery making is an old traditional art and a source of income for many across the country, says Ahmed.
A pottery making workshop was held at Rawalpindi Arts Council to impart training to make the students skilful in different fields.
Famous potter from Ahmedpur east, a native city of Bahawalpur, Khalid Ahmed gave training to the students.
He told the students that pottery is available in a number of sizes, shapes, designs and also for different purposes.
At the end of workshop, Waqar Ahmed, resident director RAC distributed participation certificates among the students. Talking at the occasion, Waqar Ahmed said that it is the basic aim of Rawalpindi Arts Council to make the students skilful besides the promotion of cultural activities in the region.
He said that pottery making is an old traditional art and a source of income for many across the country.
