The outgoing Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain of the Awami National Party lost out to the rising tide of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in the province by a heavy margin, Express News reported.
The embattled ANP stalwart could only muster 11, 835 votes in PK-12 Nowshera-I. His opponent, PTI’s Khaliqur Rehman though sailed through securing a win with 25,432 votes.
