Shah Mehmood Qureshi fails to secure NA-228 seat

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Shah Mehmood Qureshi lost NA-228 in Umarkot to Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians’ Nawab Mohammed Yousuf Talpur, according to the unofficial results.
Talpur secured 62,153 votes while Qureshi received 42,310.
Talpur was the incumbent candidate, having also won the seat in the 2008 elections.
