KARACHI:
Army and ranger’s police have disappeared from some of the stations in Malir cantt, leading to bogus votes being cast, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) advocate Ashraf Sumo told The Express Tribune.

According to him polling staff, including two women, was being tortured and was taken hostage by the workers of a political party.

“Voters are being harassed and we have complained to the concerned Returning officer,” Sumo said. “But we don’t see any action being taken yet.”

Ps-127 is the only constituency where polling is going on peacefully, rest of the district, under the NA-257 constituency, is being hindered.
