Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Tahir Shahbaz said on Friday that all formations of the authority would remain on high alert during the elections to cope with any untoward incident.
The chairman said this while presiding over a meeting at CDA headquarters on the civic agency’s election arrangements.
Members of the CDA board and other agency officials were also present, said a press release.
Shahbaz directed the CDA Hospital executive director to ensure the presence of doctors and paramedic staff in the casualty department for the next 24 hours, along with the availability of sufficient amounts of medicines in case of any untoward incidents.
