HYDERABAD: SITE police raided a house in Zeal Pak Colony, Hyderabad, on Wednesday morning and found three cement blocks each containing around 10 kilogrammes of explosives.

They also confiscated mobile phones, timed devices and other materials used in making bombs.

SITE ASP Tariq Walayat said that the police also traced a helmet, which might have been worn by one of the culprits involved in the recent attacks on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

The police arrested three brothers and their father from the house and were taken to an undisclosed location for investigation.

SSP Hyderabad also suggested that the family might be involved in the attack on the MQM workers.

However, he denied later that they had made any arrests in the case.
