Police seize 90,000 fake ballot papers in Lower Dir
DIG Malakand says the papers were being transported to constituency NA-34.
Police also arrest two suspects involved in the case.

Police seized 90,000 fake ballot papers in Lower Dir, Express News reported on Sunday.
According to initial details, police stopped a car for a security check and recovered the bogus ballot papers. The police also arrested two suspects involved in the case.
DIG Malakand confirmed the incident and said the papers were being transported to constituency NA-34.
Around 28 candidates are contesting for NA-34.
Top candidates for the constituency include Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub Khan, former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) federal minister Malik Azmat Khan, Awami National Party’s (ANP) Azam Khan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Farid Khan.
Printing ballots
The Election Commission of Pakistan had earlier said that the army will help supervise the printing of ballot papers for the upcoming general elections.
The ECP had decided to deploy army troops at offices of the Printing Corporation Pakistan Press in Islamabad and Lahore and the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation in Karachi to supervise the printing of ballot papers.
It was reported that the army would provide security from the printing process to the distribution of the ballot papers.
