The annual parents’ day and Montessori graduation ceremony of the Roots Millennium Schools, Thematic Montessori, was celebrated on Thursday, said a press release issued by the school.

The theme for this year was “Mosaique Musical - Creating a Beautiful Word” that stressed the need for students to be able to communicate, function and create change personally, socially, economically and politically on local, national and global levels.

The event was held at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) auditorium.

A welcome performance of Spring Hawaiian Dance was presented by the Junior Montessori Students followed by a beautiful and heart touching “Dancing Fairies”. The most colourful and exciting rhythmic performance was presented by the Montessori students on Costume Parade. Soon after, a scintillating performance on “Chinese Dance” was presented by the grade two and three students, spreading the magical colours of Chinese culture all around.

Ambassador of Tunisia, Mourad Bourehla, was the chief guest of the ceremony. He appreciated the outstanding and stunning performances of the Roots Montessori Students and extended his heartiest congratulations to the students. “When the children of Montessori are promoted to Grade 1, it is complete transition for them. At this stage, children need special attention and respect,” he said.

The chief guest gave away shields and certificates to the Montessori graduates and all the young performers who really made the event lively by their chirpy acts. He also gave awards to teachers, coordinators and management staff members.

CEO Roots Millennium Schools Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq said that the Roots has completed its 25 glorious years of academic excellence and overall achievement. Our aim is to provide each student the opportunity to achieve academic and personal growth within an international educational environment that encourages leadership, character, and community service.
