Hygiene and licensing: Three fast food restaurants sealed

The Punjab Food Authority sealed a branch of Al-Najam Fried Chicken (AFC) and two of Subway on Tuesday.

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority sealed a branch of Al-Najam Fried Chicken (AFC) and two of Subway on Tuesday.

The AFC restaurant at Lal Pul on Canal Bank Road had twice been served notices over hygiene violations and for lacking a licence. A food safety officer sealed the eatery for failing to comply with the notice. Subway branches at Liberty Market and Garden Town were also sealed for not obtaining a licence from PFA.
