Development work: Project coordination committee formed

A formal notification to this effect was issued by the Development Wing of the tribal affairs department on Sunday.

The Home and Tribal Affairs Department has constituted a project coordination committee to work closely with other stakeholders regarding development projects.


A formal notification to this effect was issued by the Development Wing of the tribal affairs department on Sunday.

The provincial home secretary will be the chairperson of the committee.


The terms of reference of the committee include:

(i) The committee will be responsible to coordinate all activities relating to respective departments

(ii) The committee will keep liaison between the provincial government and Department for International Development

(iii) The committee will be responsible to conduct reviews, analyse progress under the programme and report it to the steering committee (SC) for decision making

(iv) The committee will also be competent to resolve any issue arising in connection with implementation and execution of the projects.
