Street Justice: ‘Robber’ beaten by citizens
Police said three robbers took away Rs500,000 and seven mobile phones from the franchise in Samanabad.

A man was beaten up before being handed over to police after he and two accomplices allegedly robbed a mobile phone franchise here on Saturday.
Police said three robbers took away Rs500,000 and seven mobile phones from the franchise in Samanabad and escaped on a rickshaw. The franchise keeper and his neighbours chased the rickshaw. At Harcharnpura, the robber got off and ran into different streets. People caught one of them, later identified as Shabbir Ahmed, and beat him. His two accomplices managed to escape.
