Meeting With Diplomats: Plea for better ties with Arab states

PML-N cheif highlighted the salient features of the party’s manifesto for the forthcoming general elections.

ISLAMABAD: The head of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Nawaz Sharif, on Friday called for further strengthening of ties between Pakistan and the Arab countries.

Nawaz made this remark during his meeting with Arab ambassadors based in Islamabad, at a function arranged by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the PML-N cheif highlighted the salient features of the party’s manifesto for the forthcoming general elections.

He assured the Arab ambassadors that he and his party accorded the highest priority to reinforcing further the existing excellent relations with Arab brothers, urging them to enhance their participation in Pakistan’s economic growth and development.

He said this would not only strengthen the existing bonds of friendship but also create better understanding among the people of the countries.
