ATC judge told the Jatoi that a defence counsel will be appointed if his lawyer does not appear at the next hearing.

KARACHI:
The hearing of Shahzeb Khan’s murder case was adjourned once again on an application moved by a defense counsel following a strike in the city on Friday.

The defense counsel, Shaukat Zubaidi, moved an application through one of the lawyers requesting the court adjourn the hearing as he was unable to appear before the court due to the strike.

The Anti-Terrorism Court judge, Ghulam Mustafa Memon, told the suspect, Shahrukh Jatoi, that a defence counsel will be appointed on state’s expense if his lawyer does not appear before the court at the next hearing.
