Another setback: Jailed for hiding dual nationality
Iqbal was accused of concealing that he held British nationality in the 2008 general election.

Former MNA Chaudhry Zahid Iqbal has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for concealing his dual nationality. District and Sessions Judge Mushtaq Ahmed Tarrar on Friday gave the verdict after which Iqbal was taken to Sahiwal district jail. Iqbal was accused of concealing that he held British nationality in the 2008 general election.
