“There are enormous opportunities for trade and joint ventures between Mauritius and Pakistan and Mauritius will open its consulate in Faisalabad also,” said Mohammad Rashad Daureeawo while speaking to members of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) on Friday.
He asked the FCCI members to form a delegation and come to Mauritius for exploring trade avenues and enhancing interaction between business communities of the two sides.
He described Mauritius as a peaceful and beautiful country where one million tourists come from all over the world every year. Mauritius is also a gateway to the African continent and has a premier position in the area with a dynamic economy, business-friendly policies and a free exchange policy.
The high commissioner invited Pakistani entrepreneurs to form joint ventures in the Mauritius Exclusive Economic Zones that provide an opportunity to export to any African market.
Highlighting the visa policy, he said the high commission issues visa within a day and to facilitate travel a direct air link also exists between Pakistan and Mauritius.
