Nominations: Plea against Khursheed Shah, Durrani dismissed
Najaf Ali Kumaryo accuses Durrani of being involved in a criminal case.

The pleas against the nomination of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidates, Syed Khursheed Shah and Agha Siraj Durrani, were dismissed on Wednesday.
The Sindh High Court election appellate bench, headed by Justice Maqbool Baqar, was hearing the plea, in which Haroon Buriro accused the former federal minister, Shah, who intends to contest the elections from NA-199 Sukkur, of “concealing” details about his properties.
Meanwhile, Najaf Ali Kumaryo accused Durrani, who is contesting election from PS-9 Shikarpur, of being involved in a criminal case in which a local government secretary, Shaukat Jokhio, was beaten up.
The plea, filed by Pakistan Muslim League - Functional candidate Bibi Yasmeen Shah, against National Assembly speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza was adjourned till April 26. Shah said that Mirza, who is a PPP candidate for NA-255 Badin, is a bank defaulter.
