Golf: Golfers set to tee off as Pakistan Open begins today

Over 150 golfers from all over the country will vie for honours at the 42nd edition of the Pakistan Golf Championship that tees off today at the Defence Authority Country and Golf Club in Karachi.
All the top golfers are set to participate in the four-day competition which is dubbed as the biggest tournament of the country so far.
“It is the biggest event in terms of prize money,” said an organiser at a press conference yesterday. “The winner of the event will also be assisted to participate in international tournaments.”
