PESHAWAR:
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan, while addressing his supporters in Peshawar on Wednesday, said the electables, who came to power five times and looted the nation, need to be defeated.

“We have to try to defeat these electables. This will bring a revolution,” said Hasan.

Criticising them, he said that such people are answerable for the looting. “They came to power five times and made government, but did nothing for the nation.”

Addressing the youth he said, “Justice is not possible without Shariah.”

Earlier in April, The JI had announced its manifesto for the upcoming general elections. The document comprised several ambitious goals, including wiping out terrorism, lawlessness, unemployment, energy crises and the unequal distribution of wealth.

One of the main points in JI’s manifesto is that the party will strive to eliminate corruption and free the national exchequer from plunderers.
