Rangers and police arrest 25 suspected criminals in raids
Rangers recover weapons and ammunition from suspects.

KARACHI:
Rangers and police officials arrested 25 suspected criminals during targeted raids in various parts of Karachi on Tuesday.
Eight of the suspects were arrested during raids in Bismallah Market, Sohrab Goth. Eight others were arrested during raids in Kati Pahari and Banaras. The Rangers found 13 weapons in their possession.
Additionally, six people were arrested during a raid in parts of Korangi, including Mehran Town and Bilal Colony. DSP Qasim said that five TT pistols and hundreds of ammunition were found in the suspects’ possession.
The Special Investigation Unit of the police apprehended three members of a carjacking gang, Jhony Ghauri, Mazhar Hussain and Mohammad Shahid, during a separate raid in Korangi Industrial Area. The police, who conducted the raid on a tip off, found a Kalashnikov and two TT pistols in their possession. They also found a Toyota Corolla car, which had been stolen in February, near their residence.
