Loadshedding Blues: Protest, shutter-down strike
The protesters said the situation had become worse in the last few weeks.
BAHAWALPUR:
Yazman Road in Bahawalpur remained blocked for more than three hours on Tuesday as residents of the 13 Solang area staged a protest against unscheduled load-shedding. The area has been witnessing more than 18 hours of load-shedding. Shopkeepers in the area also observed a shutter-down strike. The protesters said the situation had become worse in the last few weeks. They said water supply to the area had also stopped. They dispersed after a Multan Electric Power Company sub divisional officer assured them of taking up the issue with his seniors.
