Fighting words: Sharifs should stop hypocrisy, says Sharjeel
Said that people cannot ignore the scandals attributed to the PML-N leadership including the Hudaibiya Paper Mills.
KARACHI:
The Central Deputy Secretary Information of the Pakistan Peoples Party Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that Pakistan Muslim League – N chief Nawaz Sharif should not indulge in the politics of “hypocrisy and blaming” as “people are aware of his bad deeds”.
Addressing a large gathering, Memon said that the people of Sindh are “well-aware that the Sharif brothers are hostile to Sindh”. The former provincial minister said they were “cruel” towards Sindh by cancelling the Keti Bandar project.
He said that people cannot ignore the scandals attributed to the PML-N leadership including those involving the Hudaibiya Paper Mills, the poultry scandal, defaulting of bank loans, the controversial laptop scheme and the Mehran Bank scandal. He expressed amazement that despite all these allegations, the Sharif brothers were not disqualified under Articles 62 and 63.
The brothers are “launching a revenge against the innocent people of Punjab,” said Memon. He further alleged that they had received money from Osama Bin Laden, and used it against the government of Benazir Bhutto.
