Prepared: Alavi says elections will be on time
Zahid Kurban Alavi has said interim government has made all preparations to conduct free and fair elections.

Sindh caretaker chief minister Justice (retd) Zahid Kurban Alavi has said that the interim government has made all preparations to conduct free and fair elections next month.
He was speaking to a delegation of Jamaat-i-Islami leaders comprising Muhammad Hussain Mahenti, Naseem Siddiqui, Birjees Ahmed, Nasrullah Shaji, Wajid Asif Sultan, Younus Barai and Zahid Askari at Chief Minister House on Monday.
Alavi said that there was no truth in rumours about election postponement, maintaining that, “Elections will be held on time and we have made all preparations in this regard.”
