Environment: Rangers plant tree in district jail

More than 100,000 trees have already been planted under the drive that began in March.

SIALKOT: The Chenab Rangers have organised a rangers environment protection and empowerment drive to spread awareness about protection of environment and wildlife. As part of the drive, a rangers team planted a tree at the district jail on Friday. Chenab Rangers Commander Brig Muhammad Waseem Anjum and Sialkot Jail Superintendent Asad Javed Warraich presided over the plantation ceremony. During the drive, the rangers will plant trees at schools and hospitals.  More than 100,000 trees have already been planted under the drive that began in March.
